This week, my stylish friend Julia Engel (nyfw partner in crime) and I teamed up with Hudson Jeans for a fun project. We worked long distance to show off how we wear our favorite style, the super skinny Nico.

This week, we worked with a client who was trying to get a better handle on her personal style.
She is a beautiful mix of simple and casual. A classic beauty who loves a wow factor but somehow things felt overly trendy for her to bring into her home and closet. We worked on a board to inspire her to live simply, sans shabby chic.

A few months ago, Essie and I teamed up to get you an original Dallas Shaw fashion illustration
inspired by the winter collection. The contest was such a smash that we are bringing it to you again!

Summer looks are being highlighted in fashion magazines, which has led me to some really beautiful images of models sporting white eyeshadow. I feel like this look could go horribly wrong in the hands of an amateur, so we are vowing to try it out in DS offices this week and see if and how we can make it work. I have a feeling you may need to look like Bredgie Heinen to pull this off gracefully but we'll soon find out and we will share via twitter.
I also want to know what you think: would you try it?
And if yes- how do you wear your white shadow?
Overall we agree is looks best with flawless skin and a bit of a glow.
