In continuation with my new chalkboard paint obsession, today we are giving away a chalkboard-painted plant pod by Sea and Asters! (You probably recognize them since I immediately posted the shop when I found these on etsy.)
I have the black version in my home (love the gray as well) and I am drawn to it because below a plant is such an unexpected place to find a chalk written message.

I was taking a peek at some chalkboards online this week (need one for my kitchen and just haven't found the right one yet), when I came across some really fun photos showcasing chalkboard paint.
Love the idea of using them for gift tags as spotted on hiphostess and pinterest.
You know I love a dark wall, so a dark wall you can write on sounds like it would be just right for me.
I like the minimalism here.
And for kids rooms possibilities are endless. I love the calendar idea if you are a busy mom who needs a day-to-day calendar but hates the look of the regular refrigerator version, and the pink painted door above is so fun for a children's bedroom.
